Building Affordable Communities

At Urbany, one of our core focal areas is to build sustainable affordable communities that contribute to the society in particular and the nation, as a whole. Our affordable housing projects are designed so that they add value to the neighborhood and help integrate low income families into the society where they can take their rightful place as well as fulfill their social obligations. By doing so, we aim to keep gentrification at bay, helping maintain a healthy mix of families with different financials prowess within the neighborhood.

Our projects begin with a complete understanding of the needs and unique characteristics of the community where they will come up. This helps us develop designs that fit in well into the existing landscape without burdening the infrastructure or marring the existing aesthetic appeal of the location in any way. It is not just design that we invest special attention in. We also focus on incorporating practical and environmentally sustainable design aspects so that each project is a valuable addition to the community.

Supportive housing

As socially conscious developers, we believe that we have a responsibility to the community and to the people.  Our core objective is to create affordable housing for low income families and develop supportive housing units for communities that need them to ensure that gentrification is restricted to the maximum. In achieving this objective, we are supported and need help by the community, businesses, non-profit organizations, and the local, state and federal government through public funding and support.

Our Work

We work hand in hand with our partners, acquiring development sites to build affordable and supportive housing options for deserving individuals and communities where there is a need for such low cost houses. Through this collaborative process we leverage our skills and those of your partners to the maximum, ensuring that our design reflects our shares values in the best possible way.

At Urbany, our projects are not undertaken solely with a profit motive. We know that our buildings take their place in society and help the residents establish a lifestyle that enables them to contribute to the community and nation. Functional and practical design ideas are what we believe in creating.

At the same time, we also know that the visual appeal of the building needs to be given due importance as does its ability to seamlessly integrate with the existing neighborhood. Our designs are aimed at striking the perfect balance between form and functionality, privacy and collaborative living. Special care is taken with each design to ensure that the building is sustainably energy efficient and environment friendly so that we can make a real contribution to our ecology as well.
